Today on the World of Warcraft General Forums, the question of where the new dances was posed to Blizzard by WoW player Geaek of Dragonmaw-US. Like him, I also wondered, “Remember when they made the preview for WotlK and they [sic] “New Dances!”.. Well, where are they.”
According to Blue Poster Crygil, “New dances are something we would still like to add. However, we will not add dances until we feel that they meet with our highest standards.” Crygil goes on to say, “These are something we can look forward to down the road, not in the near future”
Blizzard offers Wrath of the Lich King Digital Upgrades
If you haven’t picked up a copy of Wrath of the Lich King at your local retailer, you can do it from the comfort of your own home. World of Warcraft players are now able to upgrade thier accounts directly from the World of Warcraft homepage.
Bugged Gear, Servers Down, and Blizzard Explains Mail Issue
Like many of you, I attempted to log onto World of Warcraft this morning, after yesterday’s quite extended maintenance only to be greeted to more maintenance. Curious as to why my favorite hobby was still not working, I did some looking around.
According to Blizzard’s Breaking News on the World of Warcraft Log-in Screen this morning at 4:00 AM PST, they had to take down the servers to undergo urgent maintenance because players were able to purchase battleground honor gear for free . They say that the items will be removed from player’s inventory and all tokens or for that gear will be refunded. Upon correcting this issue they have run into database problems and are working to resolve them as well. No ETA has been given for when the servers might be up.
This all coming after yesterday’s all day maintenance. Which according to Blue poster Zarhym, “We experienced an error that resulted in players being unable to retrieve in-game mail. Once the error was discovered, we brought down the realms immediately and began working to address this problem.”
Blizzard has reassured us however: “All items that were in a mail will be sent to characters in one or more messages depending on the amount of items the character had in the mail system. Gold from auction house sales or sent through mail will be sent in a separate mail,”states Zarhym.
Blizzard Announces Two New Arenas
As of the recent patch 3.0.3, Blizzard has added two new Arena; the Dalaran Sewers and the Ring of Valor in Orgrimmar. According to Blue Poster, Nethaera, “These arenas offer new obstacles and challenges for strategy savvy players.”
They are currently both accessible through skirmish games, and will be available for rated play in the upcoming Arena Season 5.

Blizzard to Issue Realm Compensation
In case you hadn’t already heard, on Thurday, October 30th, Blue Poster Nethaera posted that all realms in the US, Oceanic, and Latin American regions will be compensated for “latency, inaccessible instances, and general frustrations”.
According to Neth, compensation has not been issued as of yet and Blizzard will issue a statement when they should appear on your accounts.

Is Apple Nintendo’s Problem?
Nintendo has seen a significant drop in profits lately and most say Apple’s mobile gaming platform is to blame. Nintendo themselves are even keeping an eye on Apple. Sony and Microsoft is no longer the thorn in Mario’s side. It’s the big “little i”.
Is Apple really the biggest issue Nintendo is facing or is it a larger issue? Most likely, a little bit of both. As a hardcore Nintendo fan, I can safely say that my favorite gaming company has failed me the past few years. It all began with the shoddy release of Twilight Princess, the lack of core titles for the DS and then the Wii games that were off-shoots of “Sports” started to move through the shelves.
What’s left for us? The Moms, families and kids are only going to enjoy their Wii for so long. Then, they will put it down for a new toy that’s promising family fun. I have it on good authority to say this since I’ve sold my Nintendo Wii. Why? Because my kids stopped playing it and moved on to something else.
Nintendo has forgotten about their core audience. They have been pumping out games for a brand new audience that were quite successful. You can only go so far with the “Wii-fit-sports-swimming pool-billiards-backyard party” franchise. Frankly, you can only go so far with any franchise. I have to admit, even Zelda is in desperate need of an upgrade. -

#5. Hey. Hey Listen!
Why Navi? Of all things, why Navi?! Because you said that as soon as you saw this tattoo. She’s embedded into your brain, the constant screaming of “Hey, hey hey listen!” and this brave man has made sure everyone will remember it. The tattoo is really well done, but we all hate him just a little bit.
#4. Stars and Ghosts, oh my!
This tattoo comes complete with invincible stars and a Boo. It’s quite obvious this girl loves her Nintendo. We love her half-sleeve and her stars. The original photo by Kotaku stated this woman’s husband was the tattoo artist. We love both of them just a little.

E3 2010 Predictions
E3 2010 Predictions
E3 2010 is a couple of months away. As usual, everyone is making predictions and speculating what huge announcements are coming. A lot of talk is revolving around Sony and Microsoft this year. There are hopes of long-awaited games finally coming out in the public eye.I wonder if Duke Nukem will finally come out? Sure. Right.
For E3 this year, I have a couple of predictions of my own. I am hoping that Nintendo redeems themselves and announces a new Legend of Zelda game. I see the game releasing during the 4th quarter of 2010. Gears of War 3 is another prediction. I don’t see it releasing in the 4th quarter of 2010. I see an announcement at E3 with the possibility of release in 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2011.
