Monkey Madness, Pirates, and Some Guy Named Guybrush Threepwood
It appears, according to a Kotaku.com put out today, that there could be a joint effort released at E3 about a special edition of the original monkey island, The Secret of Monkey Island, for the 360. Whether this is coming along with revamped graphics or new gameplay has yet to been stated, as this is all on the level of rumor and hearsay still. What do you think about more Monkey Island action? Post your opinions in the comment section and we might talk about your thoughts on next week’s R&D!
Holy Mother of God, Look at that Cannon!
Now that’s what I call a hand cannon. The new weapon released today for the spy class for the widely successful Half Life 2 mod, Team Fortress 2, is called “The Ambassador”. With the ammo count of a revolver and the accuracy of a sniper rifle, this could prove to be a weapon with devastating impact. Here’s what the Team Fortress 2 blog has to say on their new weapon…
There are two sorts of men in this world: the sort with blood pouring out of a hole in their heads, and the sort holding the Ambassador. It has the ammo count of a revolver and the pinpoint accuracy of a sniper rifle, even at long range. (But remember, a gun that packs this much heat needs to cool off between shots, so make every shot count.)
With its rosewood grip and likeness of your enemy’s mother (please send photo) engraved on the barrel, the Ambassador is eight motherloving pounds of steel your enemies won’t want to negotiate with.
I want to play a spy just to try and get this massive piece. That’s the spy/sniper update, save for one last sniper weapon, which we’ll hopefully get tomorrow!

First New Sniper Weapon Revealed!

The Sniper Class has been revealed to be what will receive the next upgrade. And the first weapon has been revealed to be…. uh…. bow and arrow?
What could the simple, majestic bow do for a class that already has a high-powered rifle? Well it’s quite simple, stick stuff to walls! Also, any headshot is guaranteed to be a critical hit.
No Appeal for Jack Thompson
One of Gaming’s most celebrated villains has hit another one of those brick walls in his path to becoming the most laughed at person in the history of gaming culture. He recently made an appeal to the highest court in the country to have his enhanced disbarment in the State of Florida repealed, and sadly, the court told him that they wouldn’t hear the case.
This is one attempt in a long series of attempts since Thompson’s disbarment last year, and he’s still not giving up. He was quoted as saying…
I have four more options, all better than this one. This was the longest of shots. All four of the others are much, much shorter shots.
With hope still in his sights, and much hilarity in everyone elses, we all wish him the best of luck, as to give us more prime material to post about here on this website.
End of an Age: PirateBay Four Guilty

Earlier today, the decision was handed down in a Swedish court that the PirateBay 4, the four people that run PirateBay.org, are guilty of assisting in making copyright content available. The charge is that they will all spend one year in prison each, along with fines totaling around 3.6 Million. Rest in Peace, Age of Torrenting, for soon enough you shall be laid in the clay of the fallen fads of the internet.
Congratulations, Dyson Williams!
The few people I’ve called today know, but I wanted to announce it here that my sister gave birth at 11:59 AM today to Dyson Williams, a very beautiful baby boy that came out at 21 centimeters and 9 lbs, 1 oz. He’s extremely healthy, strong, and happy, and the mother is doing fantastic.
