The Geek Media has been around for close to one year now and has helped bring together many forms of geek oriented media, including: podcasts, musical artists, web comics, video producers and news blogs.  However, running The Geek Media itself is not without it’s costs.

Recently we upgraded to a more powerful server solution that has worked out quite well, baring the slight server issues in the early morning hours of July 4th.  This upgrade has helped us increase our abilities to aggregate all of the content of our affiliates as well as open us up to services that we may be offering down the line.

We at TGM thank everyone who has supported us since our inception.  If you wish to help further, we have implemented a more up-front donation panel (click here to go directly to the donation panel) on the right hand side of our pages.  The “Chip-In” panel gives you the ability to not only donate to The Geek Media, but also see exactly how far away from the monthly goal we are.  Currently our monthly goal is currently $50 USD, which helps in our server costs as well as funds the development of our future projects.
