Fallout 3 in Preview

Fallout Three is coming, hopefully everyone that’s reading this has already seen all the content for the upcoming release to a minor dynasty of games over at fallout.bethsoft.com. From their turn-based strategy inspired Vault-Tek Assisted Targeting System to a whole new and in-depth story, Bethesda is really pushing the bar for single player based gaming as a whole. They’ve already shown off a lot of different tools and options you’ll have while playing through Fallout Three, another of which will be the Pipboy arm based monitor: It’s a large wrist attachment that acts as your inventory, stats sheet, equipment screen, and more. They’re not stifling on the character customization either, especially in the statistics field. Fallout Three should not only impress those of us that remember playing through the previous Fallout games, but those than enjoy single player RPG’s in general. It’s very much like a happy mix of the Elder Scrolls games, nuclear war, plenty of gratuitous violence, and enough ramshackle weaponry to shake a nuclear ugly stick at. We’ll have it all on store shelves October 28nd, so keep those mutated eyeballs peeled!
