Moonlight Pictures Officially Back

webpage1We are finally back up and running (a day early) after an unsettling set of events which caused our server to crash and our database to become corrupted. The incredible admins at our host worked relentlessly with us to clean the system and start from fresh. However, due to our own un-satisfaction of the previous design, and with the CMS’s limited customization, we have turned back to the traditional html/css webpage to showcase our work.

So what does this mean for the sites previous members? Don’t worry, we have a new site in the works to bring inspiring filmmakers together. We cannot say much as of right now due to the fact that not much has been discussed about it, but we can say we are looking to create a massive filmmaking community that would be a doorway for users to upload videos, take part in dicussions on forums, have a personal profile, have their own production blogs and domain names, ftp accounts, photo galleries, etc etc for free!!!! We want to revolutionize the film industry, and young inspiring filmmakers are the key. So we have already said too much.

webpage2As far as our own future projects, we have many. Currently, we are working on a new animated film called “The Pathopens Project: The Grey People” which is tentatively scheduled to be released in Spring of 2009. You can check out the production blog site here!

We also have many greenlit projects scheduled in 2009/2010/2011. They are: Ghostseekers, My Eternity, Logans Exodus (mini-series), Journey of Man: Supernova (animated feature; remake), and Garden.

These projects are big projects and will take some time to develop and may not be released in their tentative schedule, but we will keep you posted.

So check out the brand new site, watch the six hosted short film directed by D.L. Watson - including the just released “Regretfully Mine” - by visiting www.moonlightpictures.org. You can tell us what you think right here, on the TGM forums!
